After successfully completing this activity, the learner will be able to do the following:
- Utilize continuous positive airway pressure to mitigate respiratory depression associated with sleep-disordered breathing in at-risk patients (3, 4, 5, 6)
- Recognize the benefits of determining the severity of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) prior to the procedure (1, 2)
- Interpret the severity of OSA using standard diagnostic studies (3, 4, 5)
