- integrate light, immunofluorescence, and electron microscopic findings to diagnose antiphospholipid antibody syndrome nephropathy in the setting of lupus nephritis;
- explain the pathogenesis of renal disease in antiphospholipid antibody syndrome;
- recommend additional diagnostic tests to confirm the diagnosis of antiphospholipid antibody syndrome; and
- recognize the therapeutic implications of antiphospholipid antibody syndrome.
