Course Description

After completing this module you should be able to:
- Know the initial investigations you should carry out if a patient presents with suspected polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and how to interpret the results
- Be able to counsel patients on the long term health consequences of PCOS
- Understand how to initially manage patients complaining of oligomenorrhoea, androgenic symptoms or infertility
- Be aware of when referral for specialist management may be indicated.
