By completing this educational activity, the participant will exercise, self-assess, and improve his or her understanding of:
1. Recognizing various types of breast augmentation;
2. Identifying potential complications of breast augmentation on imaging;
3. Understanding the imaging appearance of different types of breast augmentation on different imaging modalities;
4. Identifying artifacts in digital mammography;
5. Discussing the causes of artifacts in digital mammography; and
6. Eliminating artifacts in digital mammography.
