Course Description

After completing this learning module, you should:
- Know the current immunisation schedule for children in the UK
- Know about the recent changes to the schedule
- Know when a vaccine is contraindicated, should be deferred, or requires special consideration
- Be able to answer the common parental concerns towards vaccines and childhood immunisations
- Know about potential future changes in the routine immunisation schedule.

This module does not cover travel immunisations in childhood, as these are carried out in specialist travel clinics and are not part of the routine immunisation schedule.
