After completing this activity, the learner should be able to know which patient groups are at increased risk of succinylcholine-related side effects, advise patients of their risk of postoperative myalgias after succinylcholine administration, and anticipate the effects of administering succinylcholine to patientsreceiving chronic statin therapy.
