- Identify possible healthcare barriers for young people under the age of 18 and understand confidentiality considerations
- Understand and apply the components of Fraser Guidance and Gillick competence
- Perform a competent risk assessment following unprotected sex including sexually transmitted infection (STI) risk, emergency and ongoing contraception needs
- Feel more confident in recognising child sexual exploitation and formulate ways to explore these issues
- Discuss contraceptive choices with young people detailing benefits and risks, addressing their concerns, and have an awareness of quick starting contraception.
