Program Description & Educational Objectives

In this activity, an expert in cosmetic dermatology addresses 3 key questions regarding the long-term effects of injectable dermal fillers and neurotoxins, optimal use of dermal fillers and neurotoxins, and emerging injectable products.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Compare and contrast injectable botulinum neurotoxins and dermal fillers that are currently approved by the FDA for aesthetic use
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, which include the implementation of appropriate technique and effective patient communication methods, to ensure the safe aesthetic use of botulinum neurotoxin and dermal filler products
  • Evaluate the safety and efficacy of novel and emerging injectable facial rejuvenation products

Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of cosmetic dermatologists and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients undergoing cosmetic dermatologic procedures.

Requirements for Successful Completion

In order to receive credit, participants must view the activity and complete the post-test and evaluation form. There are no pre-requisites and there is no fee to participate in this activity or to receive CME credit. Statements of Credit are awarded upon successful completion of the post-test and evaluation form.
