Activity Description

This activity will provide the most up-to-date information on current therapeutic approaches, promising advances, and nursing considerations in treating patients with multiple myeloma.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Review the biologic and molecular mechanisms involved in the pathology of multiple myeloma
  2. Identify optimal management strategies of patients based on current practice guidelines and recommendations
  3. Analyze available data from ongoing and completed clinical trials and implications on current standards of care
  4. Recognize disease and therapy associated adverse events and utilize evidence-based management strategies
