Program Description & Educational Objectives
In this activity, an expert in pulmonary arterial hypertension addresses 3 key questions regarding the latest data on diagnosis and management: advances in noninvasive diagnostic strategies, the role of PDE-5 inhibitors and endothelin receptor antagonists, and combination therapy.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Apply best practices to the use of noninvasive diagnostic tools, including 2- and 3-dimensional echocardiography, for pulmonary arterial hypertension
- Summarize the current approach to initial and subsequent therapy for pulmonary arterial hypertension, according to latest evidence
Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of cardiologists and other clinicians who care for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension.
