Program Description & Educational Objectives

In this activity, an expert in non–small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) addresses three key questions on the use of biomarkers to guide therapy selection, appropriate algorithms for NSCLC based on tumor histology, and the role of EGFR inhibition in first-line therapy for advanced NSCLC.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Discuss the role of biomarkers in the management of patients with NSCLC, particularly with regard to the treatment algorithm
  • Evaluate the relative safety and efficacy of novel targeted and chemotherapeutic agents in the management of NSCLC
  • Explain the role of targeted therapies in the management of early and advanced NSCLC, based on current clinical data

Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of oncologists and other healthcare professionals engaged in the care of patients with NSCLC.

There are no pre-requisites and there is no fee to participate in this activity or to receive CME credit.
