Program Description & Educational Objectives

In this activity, experts in the field of melanoma address the impact of new data and innovative therapies on the management of malignant melanoma, focusing on key strategies for integrating relevant clinical science into daily practice.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Apply updated clinical practice recommendations and new data for patients with malignant melanoma, including individuals with resectable or advanced, unresectable disease
  • Integrate novel immunotherapeutic options for disease management into existing protocols for patients with metastatic melanoma
  • Recognize genetic and molecular biomarkers associated with treatment implications in malignant melanoma
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the efficacy and safety of targeted agents in advanced melanoma settings
  • Identify patient populations with the potential to benefit from rationally designed combinations of immunotherapy, modern chemotherapy, and targeted agents in the setting of malignant melanoma

Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of medical oncologists and other clinicians involved in the management of malignant melanoma.

Requirements for Successful Completion

There are no pre-requisites and there is no fee to participate in this activity or to receive CME credit.
