Course Description

In this case, a healthy couple of normal stature has a child who is diagnosed with achondroplasia (the most common form of short-limbed dwarfism). The parents are confused about the diagnosis because there is no family history of dwarfism. They also question why it was not detected earlier by routine prenatal screening. See how the provider responds to their questions, and learn more about the genetic etiology, diagnosis, and management of individuals with achondroplasia.
