This activity was planned with a goal to change how single pill blood pressure (BP)-lowering therapy should be initiated and translated into a higher proportion of patients achieving BP goal, and hence, should reduce both chronic kidney disease and cardiovascular outcomes. This case was created in response to the 2017 Guideline for the Prevention, Detection, Evaluation and Management of High Blood Pressure in Adults.
