Activity Description and Educational Objectives

In this activity, an expert in pulmonary medicine discusses the latest advances in the identification and treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
  • Describe the signs and symptoms of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF)
  • Differentiate IPF from interstitial lung disorders according to evidence-based guidelines
  • Select IPF therapy according to current guidelines, relevant clinical data, and patient preferences
  • Implement evidence-based strategies for monitoring IPF treatment response, managing adverse events, and improving patient quality of life

Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of pulmonologists and other clinicians involved in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

Requirements for Successful Completion

In order to receive credit, participants must view the activity and complete the post-test and evaluation form. There are no pre-requisites and there is no fee to participate in this activity or to receive CME credit. Statements of Credit are awarded upon successful completion of the post-test and evaluation form.
