Program Description & Educational Objectives

In this activity, experts in the management of lymphoproliferative malignancies, including non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), discuss the relevance of new data presented and published in 2011 for patient care, including (but not limited to) findings presented at the annual meetings of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and European Hematology Association.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Plan a tailored management strategy for patients with indolent or aggressive non Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) or chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)
  • Employ new data on novel therapeutic options in the management of newly diagnosed or relapsed/refractory indolent lymphoma
  • Apply recent clinical trial findings when developing treatment plans for patients with aggressive NHL, including large-cell and mantle-cell lymphoma
  • Evaluate the clinical potential of developmental agents being investigated in lymphoproliferative cancers, including indolent and aggressive NHL and CLL
  • Summarize and/or apply new data on modified first- and second-line treatment strategies for different CLL populations
