After completing the material in this article, the learner should be able to:
1. Describe the CT features of an individual nodule which are correlated with a greater likelihood that it is malignant; and
2. Discuss why certain nodule characteristics are more or less correlated with malignancy depending on whether the characteristics are present on the baseline imaging or at follow up.
