Course Description

Learning Objectives
• Enhance awareness regarding the epidemiology associated with medulloblastoma and apply knowledge to improve early diagnosis and treatment for pediatric patients.
• Examine the distinct molecular subtypes and varied presentation of medulloblastoma tumors for an infant, pediatric and young adult patient and apply where appropriate to inform treatment options.
• Examine the potential benefits and limitations regarding post-operative care and enhance awareness regarding the late effects associated with the management of medulloblastoma.
• Apply knowledge gained to improve the care and quality of life of adolescent and young adult patients diagnosed with medulloblastoma.
