Activity Description and Educational Objectives

In this activity, experts in the management of transthyretin amyloidosis (ATTR) discuss the latest approaches and tools that may help with diagnosis, and the current and emerging treatment options that could reduce neurologic impairment and improve quality of life for patients with this disease.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
  • Apply evidence-based and guideline-recommended strategies to improve diagnosis of patients with transthyretin amyloidosis (ATTR)
  • Describe the clinical evidence evaluating current and emerging treatment strategies for ATTR
  • Evaluate the role of current and emerging treatment strategies as part of a multidisciplinary approach to managing patients with ATTR

Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of neurologists, cardiologists, and other clinicians involved in the management of transthyretin amyloidosis.
