Program Description & Educational Objectives
In this activity, an expert in cosmetic dermatology addresses 3 key questions about complications associated with using dermal fillers, individualizing the degree of correction in surface area, and appropriate use of various dermal filler products based on location and duration of effect.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Describe advantages and limitations of dermal fillers based on desired correction and individual patient needs
- Define proper injection techniques for dermal fillers based on understanding of facial anatomy
- Review strategies to manage risks and complications associated with dermal filler agents
Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of cosmetic dermatologists and plastic surgeons, as well as other healthcare professionals involved in cosmetic dermatology.
Requirements for Successful Completion
In order to receive credit, participants must view the activity and complete the post-test and evaluation form. There are no pre-requisites and there is no fee to participate in this activity or to receive CME credit. Statements of Credit are awarded upon successful completion of the post-test and evaluation form.
