Activity Description

OncoLogue is a dialogue among a multidisciplinary panel of experts that reflects real-world clinical discussions. It allows participants to hear and see thought leaders discuss patient management and treatment issues, experience case-based learning, and digest evidence-based commentary regarding treatment decisions.

The activity will include three clinical scenarios with which participants may engage: one patient diagnosed with follicular lymphoma (FL), one with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and one with multiple myeloma (MM).

Agenda

Topics for discussion include patients with the following hematologic malignancies:

  • Asymptomatic follicular lymphoma
  • Chronic lymphocytic leukemia
  • Transplant-ineligible multiple myeloma

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better prepared to:

  • Compare efficacy and safety data of currently available treatment options for patients with hematologic malignancies
  • Describe current strategies for individualizing therapy for patients with newly diagnosed hematologic malignancies based on assessment of transplant eligibility, patient and tumor characteristics, and risk/benefit profiles of available regimens
  • Describe biomarkers that have been integrated into risk assessment and treatment selection paradigms for patients with hematologic malignancies
  • Summarize optimal supportive care strategies for preventing and treating side effects related to hematologic malignancies or their treatment

Target Audience

This online activity is directed toward community-based medical oncologists/hematologists and fellows who treat patients with hematologic malignancies.
