Course Description

Upon completion of this program, you should be able to:

- Discuss the standard testing that precedes the transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedure.
- Describe the role of cardiac computed tomography (CT) for TAVR planning.
- Identify alternatives to cardiac CT for patients with advanced renal disease.
- Recognize which pre-TAVR testing is appropriate to be performed locally, and which should occur at the implanting center.
