Course Description

After completing the material in this article, the learner should be able to:
1. Describe the most recent recommendations and guidelines for the use of radioactive iodine therapy (RAIT) in treatment of patients with differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC);
2. Recognize the variations between professional associations in the use of RAIT in treatment of patients with DT; and
3. Discuss the stratification between patient populations that guide the various treatment recommendations.
