- discuss the negative aspects of hyperthermia during CPB rewarming.
- estimate the risk of acute kidney injury (AKI) in relation to the duration of hyperthermic reperfusate.
- identify the modifiable related factors in minimizing postoperative kidney injury following CPB.
- identify significant risk factors for AKI in propensity matched patients undergoing CPB.
