Course Description

Learning Objectives
1. Compare the safety profiles of B cell-depleting therapies in clinical trials of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), using rituximab and ofatumumab, and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), looking at belimumab and epratuzumab.
2. Evaluate safety of rituximab in RA patients with comorbidities.
3. Assess risk of malignancy in RA patients treated with TNF inhibitors.
4. Summarize recent safety data from clinical trials of tocilizumab in the treatment of RA.
