Learning Objectives
1. Review the tiers of the human immune system and factors shown to be immune stimulators in SLE and autoimmune rheumatic diseases
2. Consider how to affect autoimmune pathogenesis by therapeutic targeting of TNFSF members, NETosis and pDC to selectively affect autoimmune pathogenesis
3. Discuss how emerging therapeutic opportunities may alter our understanding of pathogenesis
