After completing the activity, the learner will be better able to:

- Describe the use of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons Predicted Risk of Mortality score (STS-PROM) as a tool to eliminate surgical risk in patients with aortic stenosis.
- Recognize other risk factors, not included in the STS-PROM, used to assess surgical risk in patients with aortic stenosis.
- Explain the most accurate imaging modality for TAVR planning.
- State the recommended antithrombotic therapy after TAVR.
