Course Description

After completing the material in this article, the learner should be able to:
1. Assess the current utilization of the U.S. Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) in radiology practices by attending radiologists, based on the ACR Practice of Radiology Environment (PRED) data base survey results;
2. Compare the 2016 and the 2015 survey results; and
3. Identify trends, as well as information of relevance to radiology attendings and to practice managers/administrators regarding the use of the FMLA and its implications for current and future radiology practice.
