Activity Description
In this infographic-based activity, an expert in chronic kidney disease (CKD) discusses anemia in CKD and explores the potential role of HIF-PH inhibitors in the treatment of this condition.
Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of nephrologists, primary care physicians, medical and pharmacy directors, medical directors, pharmacy directors, formulary and P&T committee directors and other clinicians involved in the management of patients with anemia in CKD.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify the epidemiology, pathology, and burden of anemia associated with CKD
- Discuss limitations of the current model of treatment for anemia associated with CKD
- Differentiate the mechanisms of action of current and emerging treatments for anemia associated with CKD
