Activity Description and Educational Objectives

In this activity, an expert in headache medicine discusses the role of emerging acute treatments in the management of migraine attacks and how to individualize treatment for patients.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
  • Evaluate how novel therapies may address clinical practice gaps for the acute treatment of migraine
  • Outline practical strategies to assess response to acute treatment of migraine as part of a comprehensive management plan
  • Identify clinical techniques to manage, maintain, and communicate with patients about acute treatment for migraine with novel agents

Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of primary care practitioners and other clinicians involved in the treatment of migraine.
